Meeting preview: ELECTRO '78: Beans, brown bread, and Boston: 36 technical sessions organized by Program Chairman Brian Dale's committee promise toothsome technical fare, too

With more exhibitors, and more floor space available for their product presentation than in the previous two years, ELECTRO '78 ? to be held in Boston's Hynes Auditorium and Sheraton-Boston Hotel, May 23?25 ? promises to surpass the successes of the first two ELECTROs, in Boston (1976) and New York (1977). Living up to its theme ?Look Ahead,? ELECTRO '78 will have some 350 exhibitors in 662 booths (last year there were 315 exhibitors in 560 booths) and an anticipated attendance of 25 000 persons ? fewer than last year's 26 293 New York attendees, but far ahead of 1976's 21 645 Boston attendance.
