As the Internet is evolving with more information, functionality and services, the communication infrastructure has to be upgraded to provide a faster and more efficient communication channel between the server provider and end-users. This paper provides a clear background of the architecture, contributions and opportunities of an innovative service creation and delivery model called Total Agent Management Environment (TAME) in a client-server environment. TAME defines a service network at the application layer to form a scalable hierarchical n-tier client-server architecture. The main objectives of TAME are to conserve network bandwidth, improve the client/server system performance and introduce server scalability and reliability.
