A twelve inputs time-of-flight converter for use with a PDR-8 computer

Abstract A time-of-flight converter designed for use with up to twelve detectors is described. The converter operates in connection with a PDP-8 computer and a special program allows to accumulate, print and display data. Interface problems are internally solved without the use of any additional equipment obtaining a more reliable system. The converter is constructed with monolithic integrated circuits and is contained in a quadrupole ESONE plug-in-unit.
