The invention provides a method for preventing a nickelic steel billet from being oxidized in a heating process. The method comprises the following steps of: wrapping the steel billet by using a cold-rolled sheet, firmly strapping the steel billet by using a strapping tape or covering the cold-rolled sheet on the upper and lower surfaces of the steel billet, and fixing the cold-rolled sheet on the steel billet by using a shot-welding way; putting the steel billet into a furnace, and then, normally heating so that the cold-rolled sheet and the strapping tape are automatically melted in the heating process; and clearing residues on the surface of the steel billet by using high-pressure water after the steel billet is taken out of the furnace, and then, normally rolling the steel billet. By using the method, the direct contact between air and the surface of the steel billet can be avoided, so that the continuous oxidation degree on the surface of the steel billet is delayed, the thickness of an oxidation layer is reduced, the burn out rate of the nickelic steel billet in the heating process is reduced, the workload for surface treatment is reduced, and the surface quality of a nickelic steel product is improved.
