The Alpha Wave Transfer Entropy Analysis Based on Adaptive Template Method

EEG signal is a kind of random signal with very complex and weak mechanism, which comprehensively reflects the EEG activity of brain tissue and the functional state of brain. In this study, we use a new research method to study the brain electrical signal - adaptive template method, to study the alpha wave in adolescent EEG and adult EEG. The results show that, compared with the basic template method, the transfer entropy based on the adaptive template method can more significantly represent the coupling of EEG signals and have better discrimination, which can better capture the dynamic information in the signal.
