The invention discloses an online advertisement monitoring method for performing incoming call conversion tracking by utilizing an extension telephone set. Namely, when a WEB guest click an advertisement to enter an enterprise website, a telephone number and an extension number which are both matched with the advertisement are displayed, and incoming calls of each time calling the extension number are recorded as the call conversions of the advertisement of an enterprise. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) deploying a server program in the Internet, setting one-to-one mapping relationships between the advertisements and the extension telephone sets, and deploying a telephone number display script in a webpage of the enterprise website; (2) when the WEB guest clicks the advertisement to enter the enterprise website, automatically identifying an advertisement source by using the telephone number display script; (3) displaying the extension telephone set according to the source; and (4) if the WEB guest dials the extension telephone set of the telephone number, recording the call as the call conversion of the advertisement. By the method, the gap that incoming call query of a client of the Internet advertisement is difficult to monitor is supplied.
