Pump-linewidth-tolerant optical data exchange between 16QAM and QPSK with 50-GHz channel-spacing using coherent DFB pump

We propose and experimentally demonstrate optical data exchange scheme between 16QAM and QPSK with narrow spacing of 50GHz. The use of coherent pump makes it free of phase noise from pumps, and enables the use of low-cost DFB as pump source.
