RUBBLIZATION GETS THE JOB DONE

This article reports on the latest in rubblization technology from a two-day workshop in Minnesota. MnDOT engineers discussed their experienced, including a current project along 16.2 miles of badly worn and patched concrete on Highway 169 in Eveleth, Minnesota. It is an attractive option because it is fast, increases performance life in a cost-effective manner and doesn't require complete removal of the existing pavement. It is also being used on airport runways to avoid expensive downtime and disruption of operations.
