The lighting device of the present invention comprises an irradiation element and a power supply supplying power for the irradiation element. The lighting device also comprises a controller, an electrical switch, and a wireless transceiver module. The electrical switch is in series connection with a power supply loop of the irradiation element, and a control terminal of the switch is in signal connection with the controller. The wireless transceiver module is in signal connection with the controller. Further, the lighting device also comprises an illumination brightness detection module and an ambient brightness detection module. The invention also discloses an illumination system capable of remote controlling. According to the invention, remote control of the lighting device is carried out through a wireless signal, ambient brightness and illumination brightness can be subjected to real-time monitoring, according to actual ambient brightness, optimal illumination brightness is selected, and energy consumption is reduced while illumination requirement is ensured.
