A program to simulate lransniissiort proccsses within it transtnissiun liric has bccn dcvclopetl, based on a solutioti of the tclcgrapli cquations in time dotiiaiti. All relevant line parameters are accessible for change. The prograin allows to sirnulate and demonstrate a broad spectrum of situations and processes based on transmission, reflection and superpoqitions. This program could support an introductory course before consideration in frequency domain with rather high mathematical demands are presented. Results about tryouts with students will be reported. The simulation program TeEl Within the project CohS I ] a simulation prograin TeEl - Transmission Line - has been developed LO support an approach for the introduction of tratisniission processes based 011 solutions of tlie telegraph equations in time domain. The telegraph equations describe tlie space-time evolution of an eleclroinagtietic wave on a transmission line. These equations can be derived either as a subset of‘ Maxwells equations foi TEM wavcs, or by applying Kirciihoffs laws to ;it1 clctnent of the lransniission line 121 [3].
