Chainage Chronologique de Dossiers Application a l’Evaluation du Risque de la Defaillance d’un Stimulateur Cardiaque par Etude de la Derive des Periodes

The follow-up studies of patients require the representation of the “chronological axis” of some data. In this paper, we describe a chronological chaining method of records which is a natural generalization of the structure of records having the “fixed format”. This technique is easy to use. The program which we have conceived for a mini-computer Mitra 15/125 has already enabled us to answer many investigations. However, its structure allows the easy addition of new general or specific sub-programs. Besides, the running time of interrogation is shorter because it does not require any to and fro movements of the read head. We finally present its application to evaluate the risk of pace-maker failure by studying the temporal variation of the stimulation period.
