Gestão da segurança e saúde no trabalho em empresas produtoras de baterias automotivas: um estudo para identificar boas práticas

A gestao da Seguranca e Saude no Trabalho (SST) reduz riscos de acidentes, promove a saude e a satisfacao dos trabalhadores, melhora os resultados operacionais e a imagem das organizacoes, sobretudo daquelas do setor industrial. Este artigo tem como principal objetivo identificar, a partir do metodo de estudo de caso duplo, boas praticas e principais dificuldades relacionadas a gestao da SST em empresas fabricantes de baterias automotivas da regiao centro-oeste do Estado de Sao Paulo. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de observacao in loco, analise de documentos e entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores e colaboradores. O trabalho revelou que o apoio da alta direcao e da area de Recursos Humanos e a participacao ativa dos colaboradores sao determinantes para o sucesso deste sistema e que as principais dificuldades na sua gestao advem de falhas na comunicacao, inexistencia de indicadores de SST e ausencia de visao estrategica para seguranca.
