Preamble-less non-decision-aided (NDA) techniques for 16-QAM carrier phase recovery and gain error correction, for burst transmissions

Two new preamble-less feedforward non-decision-aided (NDA) techniques for carrier phase correction and amplitude gain control for TDMA 16-QAM transmission are proposed. The preamble-less feature allows minimum burst length and hence, minimum bandwidth transmission. The NDA techniques isolate the detection process from the synchronization, resulting in a robust and reduced complexity system.<<ETX>>
