Study on Gain Scheduling Self-Adaptive Control Strategy for Marine CODAD Propulsion Plant

The application of the gain scheduling self-adaptive control strategy to improve speed control dynamic characteristic of combined diesel and diesel(CODAD) propulsion plant was studied.A simulation model was established for a CODAD propulsion plant.Based on it,the implement method of discrete and continuous gain scheduling control algorithms was discussed,and the control effect was verified by using numerical calculations.Results show that presented gain scheduling self-adaptive control strategy is well suitable for improvement of marine CODAD propulsion plant dynamic speed control performance,it also provides theoretical and computation foundations for the control strategy optimization of CODAD propulsion plant.
