On the Contents of Condensation Nuclei and Uncharged Nuclei on the Pacific Ocean and the Japan Sea

C ONTINUOUS measurements of the con-centration of condensation nuclei and uncharged nuclei were made from August 2 to 9, 1948 from an observation boat cruising about point (153°00' E, 39°00' N) on the Pacific Ocean. The observations were made with an improved Aitken nucleus counter with an electrical con-denser. Observations of a similar kind were also made at the coast of the Reibun Island (141°00' E, 45°2T N) on the Japan Sea from May 5 to 12, 1948. The results are briefly summarized as follows: in the
