Modeling of power system plays an important role in the modeling of helicopter dynamics system. The accuracy of turbo-shaft engine model affects the fidelity of power system model. Modeling techniques of turbo-shaft engine were studied first. The modeling of engine control based on rotor load feedback was developed. An inner-outer series-wound control loop for adjusting engine output power based on the feedback control was developed,and the control laws were designed. The modeling of helicopter power system based on turbo-shaft engine and rotor system was established,and an example for helicopter power system was given to validate the modeling by simulation.
