Two-dimensional optical architecture for true time-delay beam forming in phased array antennas

A two-dimensional optical architecture for true time-delay (TTD) beam forming in a phased array antenna is proposed. The architecture based on the compact fiber grating prism (FGP) has potential for large scale system implementations.
