Design and performance of rectangular patch heterogenous antenna on for wearable applications

In this paper, a textile antenna is to be designed for wearable applications. The designed antenna has the design parameters of the size is 40 × 35 × 0.6 mm3 and the substrate is Teflon whose dielectric constant is 2.1 and loss tangent as 0.001. The proposed antenna operates at 2.45 GHz. The proposed antenna has a gain of 4 dBi and VSWR is around 1.1 at the resonating frequency. The antenna is used for variety of applications like defence, secvure communication and biomedical applications. The software used for simulation is IE3D simulator.
