Amer fractal slot antenna with quad operating bands high efficiency for wireless communications

The proposed antenna was configured by cutting slots in the radiator plate of the initiator antenna, the shapes of the slots repeated in different locations to generate quad operating bands that cover the frequency ranges (4.4–6.1)GHz,(8.4–10.9)GHz,(13.1–13.7)GHz and (18.2–19)GHz. The investigation of the surface current matched the results of the radiation patterns and axial ratio band width to prove the circular polarization at the 2nd operating band. The compact size, high efficiency (94%) and acceptable values of gain (2.2–4.1)dB characterized by the proposed antenna were also compared with previous related antennas.
