TREFLE - UMR CNRS 8508, ENSCPB,Universit´e Bordeaux 1, 33607 Pessac cedex, FranceAbstract. A solenoidal velocity field is imposed in a two-dimensionalconverging-diverging channel. An initially circular bubble passing throughthe throat is strongly deformed. The numerical simulation should predictthe shape of the distorted bubble in the throat and downstream from thethroat.
