가새부재의 이력특성의 정식화에 관한 연구 (I) - 실험결과를 중심으로 하여 ( A Mathematical Formulation to Predict the Hysteretic Characteristics of a Bracing Member (1) )

In recent years, as high rise buildings are constructed frequently, bracing systems are largely used to secure lateral stiffness or lateral load capacity of a steel structure. But the elasto-plastic hysteretic behaviors of bracing member have not been known clearly. Therefore, we grasped the hysteretic characteristics of bracing member made of the equal leg angle and H-shape. The shape of hysteretic loops, the change and the deterioration in load carrying capacity and energy dissipation capacity under cyclic load reverals are duscussed evaluated by using the experimental results.
