Optimal Design Applied to Ultrafiltration on Tertiary Effluent with Plate and Frame Modules

Ultrafiltration trials were performed on a secondary clarifier effluent from a municipal waste water treatment plant. A Methodology for Experimental Research has been applied to optimize the ultrafiltration process. The results wereusedto scale-up a full plant producing 480 m3/d.
