Design of high performance RF transceiver for next generation wireless communications

In this paper, the design of a high performance RF transceiver which supports wireless data-rate up to 1Gb/s is presented. The RF transceiver operates at 3.45GHz, the channel bandwidth is 100MHz. Excellent RF performance is obtained. The IMD3 is less than -40dBc when output power is 25dBm. Both TX and RX EVM are less than 3% when tested with a 20MHz TD-LTE signal. The transceiver has a 60dB dynamic gain control range both in the TX and RX link.
