Mode-dependent gain characterization of erbium-doped multimode fiber using C2 imaging

We characterize the mode profiles, delays and mode-dependent gains of an erbium-doped step-index multimode fiber using C2 imaging based on a swept-wavelength interferometer. Space-to-time mapping is used to reduce measurement time.
