A cigarette packaging machine wherein the wrapping is provided with a changeable print code, includes print roller 14 that can be moved axially out of the working position so that the letter or number carried by the discs 15 can be changed. The discs 15 are rotatable into a different position and lockable by a retaining rod 20.
