Tujia Diaojiaolou is the most characteristic traditional folk house in South China.Academic circle has already made a lot of researches into Diaojiaolou.In order to get the overall and systematical review and summaries,this paper will make an integrate description of many angles of history,site selection and architectural composition,cultural connotation,building skills,lineage and utilization,protection of Tujia Diaojiaolou.The author also expects to supply reference for people to make further research in this field.
