Analysis of Field and Losses in A Three Phase Gas Cable With Thick Walls Part II, Calculation of Losses and Results

Losses were calculated analytically in a three phase gas cable. Three tubular phase conductors are symmetrically arranged in a tubular shell. Using, the preceding field analysis of part I formulae for losses were derived taking into account the current distribution and it's interaction in all conductors. Cases were studied and results were given for different values of parameters like thickness, geometry, conductivity and permeability. Comparison is made with results obtained by different models used elsewhere.
