Electronic Learning: From Audiotape To Videodisc

This volume does for the learning potential of electronic media in the 1990s what Chu and Schramm's Learning from Television -- What the Research Says did for educational televison in the 1960's. It provides a summary and integration of previous research and acts as a blueprint for future research into educational technology. Questions such as what medium learners prefer, which instructional strategies work best in each medium, and how important is programming are answered for each potentially educational new medium.
