전기기관차(8200 호대) 추진시스템 성능향상에 관한 연구

The GTO used in the inverter device of the electric locomotive has been mainly used, however the IGBT of a large capacity has recently generalized. But, IGBT is needed to exchange because electric locomotive operated by Korea rail corporation is using GTO. Therefore, in this study, the propulsion control system utilized GTO and IGBT is analyzed and compared. And the IGBT technology of large capacity is introduced with the development procedure and test method of the main conversion device of the IGBT type.
