Performance Analysis of Integrated Canny and Fuzzy Logic Based (3-by-3 Cell Block) Edge Detection Algorithms

Edge-detection methods have been an active area of research among researchers in the area of Digital Signal Processing. Some distinct methods have been recommended for edge extraction within an image. Among the different techniques, Canny and Fuzzy techniques have had very strong support in the edge-detection field. In this work, we have integrated the Canny and Fuzzy methods to extract the edge information from the image. This paper also analyze the performance of this integrated edge-detection algorithm with various performance measuring parameters.
