정보통신이 도시에너지 소비에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Today, the preservation of earth environment is a worldwide interest. The energy consumption of transportation is increased sharply, so it is necessary to reduce energy consumption. Transportation energy is related to the spatial structures, arrangements, and city characteristics, etc. Korea needs the formation of spatial structures that lead the energy saving. In this study focuses the activities happen in the city, especially connect with telecommunication infrastructure, and draw the relationship between these factors and the energy consumption. The process of this study is as follow: Analyze the relation with spatial quality of city interior and energy consumption concretely. Cities that telecommunication infrastructures are well-equiped, such as Seoul and other metropolitan cities, have lower rate of traffic. Also, because of topographical difficulty, inflection of telecommunication is risen in Kwangwon-do. Therefore, direct-passing could be substituted for the telecommunication sectionally. Cities, where the importance of knowledge-based industry is high, have much automobile traffic and telecommunication infrastructure. Compared with the manufacturing-industry cities, energy consumption is lower in these cities. Local cities that have many workplace, vehicles procession and traffic ratio, energy consumption are lower than the National Capital Region that depends on Seoul. It suggests that urban planning must aim to make self-sufficiency city structure to reduce energy consumption.
