A method of driving functional devices in a vehicle with voice command operation

A method of driving functional devices (14, 16, 18) in a vehicle (100) by means of a device (12) which can be operated by voice commands, comprising: - receiving a file (22) with data indicative of at least a voice command and associated to a driving manner of a functional device (14, 16, 18) indicating from a direction different from the vehicle (200) by the vehicle (100) - receiving a speech input through the device (12), - comparing the speech input with at least one speech command from the file, and if a match with one of the voice commands is determined according to a predetermined criterion, - driving said functional device (14, 16, 18) according to one of the voice commands to which a match is found, the associated drive manner. characterized, in that at least a part of the voice commands to the device (12) or a functional device (14, 16, 18) is associated with related condition and the condition is determined prior to comparing and comparing takes place only with those voice commands, which the same state or not is assigned to specific state.
