Real-Time Signal Analysis with Quasi-Interpolatory Splines and Wavelets

A local moving-average interpolation scheme which guarantees the optimal order of approximation is used to produce a digital-signal spline-representor in real-time, and spline wavelets are used for signal decomposition and reconstruction.
