Fault Set Construction Method Based on Weighted Flow Entropy and Full Dynamic Simulation

Cascading faults in power systems have the characteristics of low impact probability, so it is important to study the fault development path and defense strategy. In this paper, a method to construct a cascading fault set with entropy index and full process simulation is proposed. The state of the power grid is judged by the weighted flow entropy and the generator excitation current, and the subsequent fault is selected by the coupling branch index. After the power grid is close to the alert state, the corresponding fault form is refined by the FDS (Full Dynamic Simulation). The proposed method can compress the times of time domain simulation on the basis of the reliability of the fault set, greatly improve the efficiency of the formulation of the chain fault defense strategy, and provide the basis for the formulation of the chain fault defense strategy.
