Study on CBM Fracturing Technology and Technical Improvement Test for High-rank Coal in Qinshui Basin

Productivity of single well of CBM is the bottlenecks which is restricting the development of CBM industry.Fracturing is one of the effective measures to enhance the production of CBM well.This paper analyzes the application effect of CBM fracturing process mainly used in the high-rank coal of Qinshui Basin in the recent years,rethinking the hidden problems of the fracturing effect differences behind coal formation conditions and the type of coal reservoirs,discussing the impact of CBM reservoir,the drainage caused by external water during the fracturing transformation process.For the current lack of retrofit applications using activated water fracturing process in the coal reservoirs with low permeability,it proposes a set of fracturing technology improvement ideas which can reduce the water damage to improve the fracturing effect,and carry out the pilot test of ten wells or more.Currently the expected test results have be achieved,and the "low pre-liquid ratio,fast flowback" as the main fracturing process has been formed,which is expected to further improvement and promotion.
