Implementation ofa ZVS Half-BridgeConverter with Current DoublerRectifier

Thispaperpresents thesystem analysis andcircuit implementation ofazerovoltage switching (ZVS)half-bridge converter withcurrent doubler rectifier. Theasymmetrical pulse-width modulation technique isusedintheadopted power converter toregulate thedcoutput voltage andimprove the dutycycle utilization. Thetransformer leakage inductance and theoutput capacitance ofpowerswitches areusedtoachieve ZVS operation duringthetransition interval betweentwo switches. Theoperation principle oftheconverter isanalyzed andexplained. Thedesign consideration oftheZVS half- bridge converter withcurrent doubler rectifier isprovided. Finally experimental results areprovided toverify the theoretical analysis andcircuit performance.
