Mobile Agent Communication Mechanism using Sub-Server

Mobile agent is important in mobile agent based distributed environment. The mobile agent performs a purpose through accesses to resources of the remote host by migrating from one host to another host or interactions between agents. Therefore communications between the mobile agents is important. However, there are communication failures problem and message forwarding errors due to the mobile agent's properties. Hence, communication protocol requires location-transparency, reliability, high-efficiency, asynchrony and self-adaptability and there are mechanisms to satisfy the requirements. In this paper, we propose mobile agent communication mechanism using Home Server and Sub Server. By using the mechanism, we can provide reliable message delivery services that solve the problems in the previous methods for communication failures and message forwarding.
