Power Quality Disturbance Detection based on Improved Lifting Wavelet

A new power quality disturbance detection algorithm based on improved lifting wavelet is proposed to solve the problem of power quality disturbance detection in power system. The algorithm combines the weighted average filtering algorithm to optimize the prediction of lifting wavelet decomposition. After the disturbance signal is decomposed by lifting wavelet, the disturbance mutation point is detected by the principle of modulus maximum. The simulation and test waveform analysis of power quality disturbance show that the algorithm has higher accuracy and stronger noise resistance compared with the existing detection algorithm based on lifting wavelet.
