Integrating Cad and Cam Through the Feature Based Methodology for Design and Manufacture

It is widely acknowledged that the successful integration of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) will bring extensive benefits to the manufacturing organisation. However, due to the wide variety of hardware and software used in CAD and CAM systems, it is not easy to design or create an integrated system.
