The Behavioural Motivation Model in Open Distance Learning

The article contains the concept of developing a motivation model aimed at supporting activity of bo th students and teachers in the process of implementing and using an open and distance learning system. Proposed motivation model is focused on the task of filling the knowledge reposi tory with high quality didactic material. Open and distance l earning system assures a computer space for the teaching/le arning process in open environment. The structure of the motivation model and formal assumptions are described. Additionally, there is presented a structure of the linguistic da tabase, helping the teacher to assess the student's motivation and the basic simulation model to analysis the teaching/learning process constrains. The proposed approach is based on the g ames theory and simulation approach.
