Integrated Weed Management in Chilli (Capsicum Annum L.)

There are several constraints in chilli production. Weed infestation is one of the major factors for loss in yield under irrigated conditions as chilli is usually planted at wider spacing and it grows very slowly during early growth stages. Weeds which emerge and become established during early stages of chilli growth can be very competitive and reduce the chilli yield potential significantly. Weeds are one of the major limiting factors in the production of chilli and one of the important spices as well as vegetable crops of International Journal of Current Microbiology and Applied Sciences ISSN: 2319-7706 Volume 9 Number 1 (2020) Journal homepage: http://www.ijcmas.com
