Development of the Vacuum Switches Applied in Electric Locomotives

Vacuum switches have better characters than other switches, and it is suitable to be used in electrical locomotives specially. The technical parameters, total structure and experimental results of the vacuum switch developed and used in electrical locomotives are introduced in this paper.
