Multivariate spline methods in CAGD

Abstract The most interesting multivariate splines in CAGD besides tensor product splines are the bivariate splines over regular tringular grids. After a short survey on the construction of multivariate spline methods, the aspects of advantageous algorithms for the local and global representation of triangulat splines considered.
