Widely tunable, narrow linewidth all-solid-state laser system

We report the development of a gain-switched kilohertz repetition rate Ti:Sapphire laser. Multi-watt output-power between 675 and 1020 nm has been demonstrated with just one set of cavity mirrors. Design, performance and characterization are presented.
