The uncanny valley of haptics

During virtual experiences, enhanced haptic feedback incongruent with other sensory cues can reduce subjective realism. During teleoperation and virtual reality experiences, enhanced haptic feedback incongruent with other sensory cues can reduce subjective realism, producing an uncanny valley of haptics.
