Microdialysis for measurement of hepatic and systemic nitric oxide biosynthesis in septic rats

Background:  We sought to compare two techniques, microdialysis and repeated blood withdrawal, for serial assessment of hepatic and systemic nitric oxide (NO) biosynthesis in septic rats.
