THE LECITHINASE AND LIPASE ACTIVITIES OF MEMBERS OF THE GENUS PSEUDOMONAS

SUMMARY The group I pseudomonads of Shewan, Hobbs & Hodgkiss (1960) generally produced both lipase and lecithinase, the species Pseudomonas aeruginosa being consistently active. Strains belonging to the other three groups were comparatively inactive.
