Estimation theoretic approach for radar pulse compression processing and its optimal codes

A new radar pulse compression algorithm based on estimation theoretic principles is proposed and optimal codes for the proposed algorithm presented. The resolving power of the proposed algorithm is greatly enhanced due to the complete elimination of pulse compression sidelobes.
