The V-synth system

The V-synth system, a major updating of the MIMOLA software system, is described. A brief overview of MIMOLA is presented, followed by description of the changes made to it. These changes include integration of MIMOLA into the VHDL environment, development of a tool called the process graph analyzer, the changes to the MIMOLA control structure, and the addition of the capability to accept pipelined designs as input.<<ETX>>
