Optimization Design of the Secondary Helical Cylindrical Gear Reducers Based on MATLAB

In this paper,according to the basic requirements for the secondary helical cylindrical gear reducers,a mathematical model,which is made up of objective function,design variables and constraint conditions,was established with the idea of optimization design.Then,a sample was shown to demonstrate how to optimize the gear transmission and a matlab program was edited to computer the optimization result.When designing a reducer in this way,it is useful to improve productions based on requirements for capability,efficiency,structure,cost,and reliability,and can be referenced to design other similar productions.
